Two programmes are available for blood cell counts. The NUCL/RED blood cells are not included in either programme. The red cells are not included in the percentage and can be displayed separately. The system automatically switches to memory circuit and the contents of any channel can be recalled by depressing the appropriate key.
Hard action control keys eliminate operator error during the counting sequence. Voluntary count termination facility is provided where limited sample is available.
- Option 1:
- As a standard blood cell count to count down from 100 or 1000 and then to display the contents of each channel as a single unit or to be displayed as a percentage of the total white count.
- Option 2:
- To include the absolute count facility. The instrument will operate as Option 1 but on completion of the count the absolute figure can be fed in and entered by depressing the appropriate key. A percentage of red and white cells can now be displayed against the absolute count.
